About Hebrew teacher – Aviva

My name is Aviva Levine and I live in an agricultural village,
Moshav Nov, in the Golan Heights, in northern Israel,
just opposite the Sea of Galilee.

My experience as a teacher :
I have over 20 years of experience and have taught both in public schools as well as private lessons. I’ve taught Hebrew Ulpans to both Russian and Ethiopian immigrants.

Shopping and Traveling in our vicinity:
There is a grocery store in Nov, a dairy delicatessen, and a meat restaurant a hop and a skip away. Tiberias is a mere 50-minute drive from Nov. Public bus service goes from Nov to Tiberias and on to Jerusalem several times a day. We will be happy to personally accompany you to the local archeological sites (the most ancient synagogue in the world is just five minutes away! by car) and show you the many pedestrian paths and hiking trails that extend nearly endlessly north and south of us.

Our Home: Aviva´s roomWe live in a comfortable private, one-story house,

situated on over an acre of organic farmland.

Your suite, which has complete privacy, includes two beds, air conditioning,

a private full bathroom, and a kitchen.

The window of your room looks out over our vegetable garden.

A few kindly requests about Shabbat, food items, and dress:
In your apartment, you may do whatever you like but please no loud music.
Over Shabbat, there is no bus service and all shops are closed.  If you need to buy anything for Shabbat, please do so beforehand.
Since we are a religious family, we ask you to respect the Shabbat while in other parts of the house other than your suite.

Your kitchen is a dairy kitchen so, please, keep there only non-meat products
We thank you in advance for your kind cooperation.

And, last but not least:

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO MEET YOU!
Besides learning Hebrew together, we look forward to having many mutually enriching conversations over your stay.
