About  Hebrew courses for Beginners –

Since the students study in a Hebrew speaking environment all day long,
from the blessing:”boker Tov” (good morning) in the morning, to “Laila Tov” (Good night) at nights. they are challenged to improve their Hebrew speaking skills quickly.
In addition, we use a practical and experiential approach, focusing on getting the learner to speak while simultaneously teaching the students new vocabulary words, the alphabet, basic grammar points, and more.
We apply drilling exercises and repetition to get the learner to use all of the new information they just received.

The results of your very special approach to teaching IvritHebrew course for beginners
have far exceeded what I thought possible in 2 weeks.
After having tried to learn from books and cds for mouths by myself with very little effect,

I am actually talking Ivrit now – and understand so much more!

It’s so wonderful and miraculous that both of us could be with you and Dorit studying Ulpan one whole month!
We learnt so much from you, and so blessed staying with you and your family at scenic Ramat Yishai, located at the Jezreel Valley.
I could not imagine now having able to start reading articles.
    And Suprati progressed so much!!!
We look forward to come back again very soon.

Review of Home Ulpan – Nov. 5-17, 2017 – .Clyde & Margie Smith – Canada

“We survived – we thrived – we want to adopt Shlomit & Shimon!!!”

A two-week intensive, live-in course was a new experience for us. We did not know what to expect or know if we would have the stamina to persevere. We also did not know what it would be like to live in someone else’s home. Shlomit is an excellent teacher, always warm and encouraging. She was able to quickly determine what each of us knew, and how each of us best learn. Shlomit and Shimon (and their dog Dimo) have a wonderful gift of hospitality, making our stay very comfortable. We could stay focused on homework and studying with the other students. The morning breakfasts were a wonderful way to start the day. The setting – looking out on farm fields and Mt. Carmel – was very conducive to both studying and relaxing.

    Toda Rabah!!!

    Dear Shlomit,
I want to thank you so very much for opening your home and school to me this past month! What a warm and comfortable atmosphere in which to study intensive Hebrew! Breakfast was authentic Israeli, thanks to you and your lovely husband, and my room with a view extending over fields ready for planting, made this a very special experience. What made it even more special was the wonderful teaching I received from Dorit, who patiently taught your curriculum. I know that two weeks is not long to learn a language, but t was what I needed, to realize how much I CAN learn in a short amount of time, and that I want to continue to learn this beautiful language. Todah Rabah!!! Leah

    Dead Shlomit,

The experience you and your husband provided for me was incredible. The three weeks I spent in Israel were some of the most challenging academically but also some of the most enjoyable. From breakfast to dinner I always felt like I was learning something new about the Hebrew language or just the Israeli culture itself. The trip is a unique opportunity to really entrench yourself in the beauty of not just the language, but also the country.

Toda Rabah for impacting a life!
